Human Resources/Office Management/IT/Finance


  • Operations Manager - £30k - central London

The organisation:

An environmental campaign.

The role:

To manage the efficient operation and development of  internal systems.

To manage all aspects of human resources policy and personnel procedures for staff, interns and volunteers. This includes the administration and further development of  human resources policies.

To have overall responsibility for the development and management of the use of ICT

The candidate:

Has solid experience in one or more of the following - human resources, office mangement, IT.

Has experience in budget management and abiltiy.

An ambitious and organised individual ready to help take the campaign forward.

Full-time role but potentially 4 days a week for the right candidate.

  • Consultant Press & PR Consultant - 3 days per week for 3 months approx. - £200 per day approx. - central London
The organisation:

A poverty campaign

The role:

To build national media profile, broadening the range of media covering the campaign

To work towards a key campaign event in the autumn.

The candidate:

Has significant experience in a high profile media office or public relations function.

Also in successful liaison within a coalition or variety of organisations to coordinate press or PR

And of proactively seeking new contacts and building relationships with journalists, papers or press officers at other organisations.

The role:

To assist the Public Relations Officer with press releases, statements, publicity, events organisation and management of the brand; to assist with the design, layout and production of publications for print, and websites.

Essential that they are trained on QuarkXpress also trained on Mac

The organisation: 

A disability campaign 

The role: 

To motivate, advise and facilitate campaigns groups, to ensure that disabled peoples' voices are heard by decision makers. 

To provide a channel of communication between grassroots campaigners and the national campaigns team, ensuring that national objectives reflect local concerns 

The candidate: 

Has proven experience working as a campaigner at community or regional level. 

Has an understanding of local/regional political structures. 

Has experience of identifying, building and developing local campaigning capacity.

  • Campaign Training & Events Officer - £30k - central London - 12 month contract (minimum)

The organisation:

Campaign support organisation

The role:

To plan, develop, implement and monitor a programme of training amd events.

The candidate:

Has experience of working in a capacity as a Research, Campaigns, Advocacy or Parliamentary Officer.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of the voluntary sector in England


Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, including presentation skills

The role is with a disability campaign in central London. They are looking for someone to make an immediate start if possible. It is a full-time role and for at least 3 weeks - but possibly longer. It would suit someone at Officer level at the moment. But possibly Assistant level - someone capable of hitting the ground running. But it needs someone with good experience of campaigning.

The organisation:

The role:

To provide administrative support to directors; dealing with correspondence/visitors; assist with management of projects; liaison with internal and external contacts.

To provide basic office day-to-day management for the campaign.

The candidate:

Experienced in PA role or similar.

Highly organised and capable.

Focused on providing good support for senior staff and the organisation.

The organisation:

A health campaign

 
The role:

To be responsible in developing and delivering our influencing strategy at a national and regional level, working to influence politicians, senior civil servants, leading health care professionals and commissioners within primary care trusts.

To working strategically with the Directors to lead the strategic campaigning to deliver the objectives of the organisation.

To lead a team of five who are based either regionally or at our national office.

The candidate: 

An experienced public affairs professional with at least four years experience of developing and delivering high profile campaigns, which have helped to shape public policy, ideally within the health sector. 

Experience gained within industry, at a think tank, public body or campaigning organisation. 

Excellent knowledge of the workings of Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved assemblies of Wales and Northern Ireland will be excellent. 

Has a clear understanding of the role of voluntary organisations in the development of policies and services.

The organisation:

The role:

To conduct research to identify and investigate potential high value givers.

To oversee and co-ordinate effective admin systems to support the work of the major donor team ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are kept. To include logging of correspondence, meetings, approaches made and tracking funds donated by each major donor.

To contribute to approaches and proposals to wealthy individuals, including invitations to events, project visits and cultivation days.

The candidate:

Previous charity fundraising experience.

Broad knowledge of marketing or fundraising ideally of major donor fundraising.

Good interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with people at all levels
