Campaigns Manager – £41k – full-time – permanent – central London

The organisation:

A child rights campaign

The role:

To put in place a campaign strategy to recruit and develop campaigners using online and offline communications with the aim of affecting public policy and public attitiudes.

To lead with cross-organisational support campaigns that include the participation
of young people.

To work externally with other partner campaigns and stakeholders and to represent the campaign at events and conferences and in the media.

The candidate:

5 years experience of public campaigning

Some line management experience.

Successful experience of affecting policy and engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Campaigns Manager (5 month contract)  – £32-35k pro rata

The organisation:

A disability campaign

The role:

To project-manage, plan and deliver an innovative campaign to support disabled children and their families.

To champion innovative and engaging new approaches to bring about positive change.

To line manage Campaigns Officers, to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders across a range of departments particularly digital and marketing and to oversee the campaigns department ensuring that all activities are delivered to budget.

The candidate:

Proven track record of building and leading a team.

Experience of managing successful marketing, communications or advocacy campaigns.

Track record of planning projects and managing cross-departmental project teams to deliver multimedia campaigns using digital or social media.

Parliamentary & Policy Officer – £27-32k – central London –  3 days a week, 12 month contract

The campaign: 

A disability campaign

The role:

To drive the campaigns agenda within Westminster & Whitehall by building excellent relationships and maximising any opportunities.

To represent the campaign with other charity, campaigns and like-minded bodies to ensure that the campaigns policy is put forward strongly.

To act as a spokesperson on as specific policy area externally and to give advice internally on this area.

The candidate:

Has 3 years experience in parliamentary or public affairs work.

A proven ability to   learn and understand complex policy areas and then communicate the issues clearly to a range of audiences.

Expert knowledge of the structures of local and central government in the UK.

Database Manager – £42k – central London – full-time, permanent

The organisation:

An animal welfare campaign

The role:

To provide the overall strategy for the use of the database in terms of fundraising, campaigning.

To work cross organisationally with the teams using the data to produce calls to action and the teams using the results of the actions eg Finance and the Data Analysis team

The candidate:

Has extensive knowledge of database management in the charity sector and a track record of success.

Proven experience of using Excel at advanced levels.

International Press & Media Manager – circa £35k – full-time – permanent or 3-6 month contract – central London

The organisation:

An international animal welfare campaign

The role:

To raise the issue of animal welfare  up the public’s agenda across the world & to use the media to affect the actions of key decision makers

To refresh the campaign’s approach to media relations and develop a strategy that maximises the effect of the work

To co-ordinate the work of press and media staff across the world and manage external agencies on the campaign’s press initiatives. To support the offices around the world without the media expertise.

The candidate:

5 years plus experience in media relations with at least 2 years internationally or working with colleagues internationally – with an excellent knowledge of international media.

Ideally good experience of using the media to support campaigning work

The willingness to travel internationally without much notice
