Assistant Communications Director (Activism) – £55k – full-time – permanent – central London
The organisation:
An international animal welfare campaign
The role:
To line manage a team of 5 managers to engage the public to directly take action in a positive way on behalf of the campaign.
To oversee the various different approaches including: press & PR, celebrity involvement, digital and mass on-and offline methods to increase the numbers of campaigners and their quality of actions.
To draft and implement a strategy to mobilise campaigners on a global level. Working with country teams across the world.
The candidate:
Significant and successful experience in communications in any sector ideally in an international context.
Excellent knowledge of mass mobilisation strategies, digital marketing.
Solid experience of leading a team of experienced individuals and leading them to develop and launch high profile campaigns.

Senior Health Policy Officer – Sussex – £35k – permanent, full-time
The organisation:
An international development campaign
The role:
To develop policy by pulling together information from the campaign’s programme work and for other relevant external sources.
To promote & share policy within the campaign and to key external stakeholders.
To produce policy documents, build relationships with Whitehall, international institutions,government and other NGOs.
The candidate:
Experience in lobbying & policy ideally in health and international development.
Experience of commissioning research along with the ability to undertake research and write policy briefings.
Experience of campaigning internationally.

Deputy Director – £35-45k – central London – full-time, 1 year contract role, available for renewal, depending on funding.
The organisation:
A justice campaign
The role:
A new role with a small campaign. To work alongside the Director, who works part-time, to develop & drive this winnable campaign forward.
To deputise for the Director – externally and internally – maintaining close relationship. And the able to have the gravitas to represent the campaign at external meetings, conferences and events.
To lobby, campaign and have a media & communications role.
The candidate:
Has significant public affairs & parliamentary experience alongside the ability to respond to and develop the press and media.
The ability to oversee the daily operations of the campaign and to be involved with whatever is necessary for the good of the campaign.
A demonstrable ability to fully understand new campaigns together with a real passion for what the campaign is looking to achieve.

The organisation:

The role:
To oversee the analysis and development of policy based on undertaking research
To take forward the policy to campaign to improve the situation for patients. This is to include recruiting and developing campaign supporters and also public affairs work.
To line manage two senior officers
The candidate:
Has experience campaigning and policy work in the not-for-profit or public sector
Proven project and staff management skills
Experience of user involvement activities to ensure a relevant an appropriate campaign

Press & Media Officer – £25k – a human rights campaign – central London- full-time
The organisation:
A human rights campaign
The role:
To take a leading role in social media development.
To provide effective visual and written materials to promote the organisation and to maximise opportunities.
To be jointly responsible for the website content and to be responsible for recommending website developments.
The candidate:
Should have experience of a press room and be comfortable liaising with journalists and editors.
Experience producing newsletters, magazines and have editing experience.
Experience working on a campaign which requires communication to a wide range of stakeholders.
