The role:
To develop relationships with new and exisiting contacts to and secure grants.
To identify, research & write applications to trusts and be responsible for their reporting needs.

The candidate:
Experience of obtaining funds from trusts & foundations.
The ability to understand funders needs and developing highly personalised relationships using a range of techniques e.g. face to face, telephone, written.

- Senior Major Donor & Trusts Officer - full-time, home-based - £28,750 to £35,000
Home-based but within two hours of East Midlands. Or in the East Midlands office

To manage major individual donors and high value trusts to maximise income.
To manage the identification, research, contact planning, introduction and cultivation of relationships with major donors, high value trust contacts and those who can influence significant gifts.
To ensure opportunities for high level donations both directly and through others, and deliver stretching income targets.
The candidate:
Experienced in acquiring significant high value grants from trusts.
Thorough knowledge and experience of major donor fundraising from concept to the point of securing funding and ongoing stewardship
A strong and inspiring networker, with a track record of contributing to the effectiveness of high performing teams

The role:
To maintain and increase income from charitable trusts and grant making bodies.
To research & identify new funding opportunities
To provide support to home-based members of the team when required.
The candidate:
Minimum of 2 years experience in Trust fundraising
Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising databases.
Experience of researching organisations or individuals via various sources including the internet, publications.

The role:
To raise awareness of the campaign’s work by gaining high-profile media coverage & use PR & media to build our brand.
To contribute to reactive and proactive media strategy using your extensive knowledge of new and traditional media and your excellent writing and communication skills.
To be responsible for PR campaigns targeted at regional, national, consumer and trade media and to take a proactive approach to working within a small but busy team to place stories in the media.
The candidate:
A talented Press Officer, with a minimum of 12-18 months press office experience.
A dynamic, creative and flexible individual with proven media relations and strong client and relationship management skills.
Experience of organising media events, photocalls and launches.
